Neely Mercurio, Licensed Acupuncturist, Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric and Neonatal Specialist at Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton, MA.
After 35 years in the health care and medical fields, I am honored to help my patients achieve good health and a better quality of life. I began my career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the Intensive Care Units of two of Boston 's fineast teaching hospitals, Boston Children's Hospital and Boston University Hospital (now Boston Medical Center). Fourteen years later, I became a Licensed Acupuncturist as well. Welcome Acupuncture is an alternative and complementary practice where all of my patients benefit from my dual training in Eastern and Western medicine and my ability to speak the language of both. As a Chinese Medicine practitioner, I have been trained to always treat from the heart, to trust my instincts, and to use mindfulness in my treatments.

Catherine Thibault. Licensed Acupuncturist, Faculty at MCPHS/New England School of Acupuncture, Newton, MA.
I started studying Chinese Medicine 25 years ago, fascinated by the healing power of the vital energy, QI (Chinese)/ Ki (Japanese). I began my extensive and amazing journey at the Boston Shiatsu School and trained in Japan at the Ki Institute of Dr. Nakagawa and with Koei Kuahara Sensei in the US while completing my graduate studies at the New England School of Acupuncture in 2001. I practice both Chinese, Japanese and a non-insertive style of Acupuncture called Hari or Toyo-hari. I have also practiced Ki energy healing, Shiatsu and Licensed Massage Therapy for many years. I attend to my patients with compassion and respect and believe kindness towards oneself and others opens doors to healing.
